Default ....New HIN Project....UPDATED 5/11....Pics are UP!!!!!!!!!

My new video/audio project is well under way finally. I had some time off and was able to pick up some parts and start building the pices for everything. This is what is going on, inside the hatch I am making a new floor to replace the stock plastic one. I am mounting my 10lb nitrous bottle, a 15" LCD TV, my Xbox 360 ( YES XBOX 360), 4 X 6 1/2" speakers, an amp, and finally a Xbox 360/DVD holder.

I will be using a power converter to power the TV and Xbox 360 and it will be hard wired to the Yellow Top battery that I will be using.

I picked up all the plexiglass today and sanded them so it gave them a frosted look. I mounted neons behind them and monted them to the false floor. The plexiglss will be the base for the Xbox 360, AMP, and the nitrous bottle and a nice red glow of neon will show under each item. I mounted the Xbox 360 to the plexiglass buy using velcrow. This way I can bring it into the house when I need it.

I will be starting the Game/DVD holder next, but I am already having trouble with space. I might be looking at getting a 5lb nitrous bottle to help save room, or suspeand the Xbox 360 in the air.

I know, YOU WANNA SEE PICS!!!!! Sorry, but the tC is off at Single Digit Racing (Performance Shop in Indy) right now and it will be back tomorrow so I will take pictures tomorrow for everyone to see whats going on. This is a very slow moving project, so updates might be long and slow. (Thanks to college and work) Also, opinions are welcomed but I dont want to hear about how nitrous will blow my motor or how something is a waste of money or time.......Thanks

are you going to leave the power inverter running the whole time? I was going to put my inverter in the trunk same place where you have yours but i realized that I would have to leave the power inverter on the whole time or take everything out to shut it down everytime. I mounted mine behind the backseat easy for me to get to to flip the switch. just a fyi

I would have had the inverter working but the power cable touched the metal of the body of the tC and well there went the fuse..... ....I didnt have time to pick the fuse up since all I have in my house are MINI (Damn tC) ones.

Tomorrow I am finishing running wires and will be mounting the wood to support the right side of the floor, since I will be keeping the spare in. Also, will be mounting other goodies to keep the clutter under control.

Its 4 Rings but the camera didnt get them all. I think its because the clock is not setup, because when I use it in the house the rings go away after I set the clock and all the settings.......
