yea tweaked the design so they're locked in instead of pressure fitted.

 

Did Domo ever send pics of the EDFC/ if so can you make deff interested as well.

I'm trying to get my hands on one so that I can get some ideas. From the looks of it there's a groove in the middle I could create a tab for, but not sure if there's any way to lock it in there.

also someone that has an edfc, can you get me the part # off the unit as well? Looks like there's several different controllers out there.

it's all good. I'm gonna work w/ the dimensions given, and once I get the cutout good, I'm going to see what options w/ have w/ securing it. The groove doesn't look as big as I thought it was.

 

Would love to buy one with the SCION logo and Scangauge cutout! PM me if these are still available please. =} Now all I need is a white led to replace in the cubby that isn't insanly bright. lol

 

Just recieved mine today and it looks great, however, it was cracked on the right side and will not hold my scangauge because it's split all the way through. I noticed this while taking the tape off of it. Is there any way I can have a replacement?? I can send pics of it if you'd like. These seem kinda thin. =\

 

yea unfortunately due to it being so thin you have to be gently w/ it. but yea, I'll send you another one out in the morning.

 

Thank you thank you!! Do you think I can spray it with some type of coating to make it a little harder? I'm afraid from my hard suspension that I'll hit a bump and cause the scangauge to crack it.

 

I think what I will do this time, just incase with my rough suspension and all that I mentioned earlier, and since my dad owns a tint shop, I'll cover the back of it with a lite shade of film to make it a little stronger. I really want to get this panel in there because I love how it looks. I'll make sure all my friends buy one from you as well. =}

 

I can try a better material. I used inexpensive gp acrylic, so can try some others out.

 

Any updates on a new panel? Wasn't sure if you've sent a replacement because I havnt recieved anything yet =\

 

For what it's worth, I'd be willing to pay a little more for a panel made of polycarbonate if/when I get a Scan Gauge.
