Default New installation--what to do with stock SUB?

Installing a Clarion CX201 to my 2005 TC... I have the stock sub and the crutchfield website says:

"If the factory radio is replaced, the factory sub will no longer work."

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-LJxTpvf...ion-CX201.html

Anyone know what gives? Is my sub going to be worthless?

When I installed my pioneer AVH-P3200BT the stock sub worked fine. Urs should to as long as you by the wiring kit for the scion and not try to cut and tape the wires urself.

Get a real sub, that thing sucks. I've got one too and it disappoints me every time it tries to make bass...

Hopefully I'll be able to close the door once its installed. I havent opened up the dash yet but supposedly theres a lot of room to scoot it back if needed?
