NEW SEATS INSTALLED! Sort of... (LOTS OF PICS!)
Oh ya... so the update is I think I'm done. Can't get pics til tomorrow though. Ran out of light and flash pics look awful. Will get some right after work after a trip to the wash.
Also got the decals on...

On to the rest of the pics! I posted these in the NRG Harness Bar thread as well:

I used one of the included spacers (1/4"?) here between the body and the lower support mount:

Here you can see I need to get a longer bolt for this connection - and I even only used ONE washer!

Got the 1" spacer from Lowe's and obviously haven't put the B Pillars back in yet.

The material of the cloth looks different on yours than it does on mine. I guess they did change something other than the size when they changed from the Carerra to the CR1.
So I at least got my seatbelt light off. Shoved a piece of cardboard in there and ziptied it in.
I have secured the black sensor thing to the bracket (towards the front of the seat) but my airbag light is still on. Do I need to disconnect the battery and reset something for it to go off? Or should it go off on its own?

beautiful seats, congrats.
do you find them as comfortable as the originals ?
do you have any concerns about safety ?
why didn't you stick with the original harness belts or opt for the 2 inch
retractable harness belts offered by corbeau ?

Thanks guys. I don't think they're as comfortable as OEM... but they're not meant to be so its OK and I expected that.
No real safety concerns right now - except my airbag light. I'm still kind of waiting to see if it'll go off on its own before I tinker with anything.
I just wanted some simple harnesses that would serve their purpose and look good. I did actually consider the 5 pt harness besides what I got - mostly for the submarine strap. But just seems like it would have been much more of a PITA. These 2" ones are simple and effective. And they look good.
I may pick up a set of the harness pads soon though.
