You can try wheelskins. I got one on mine and I think it looks great. I was a little worried cause all the pictures of it on the internet look like crap, but i said what the heck and took a chance. Took over an hour to install, but i think it looks great and it feels terrific. Only about $30 on ebay. I got the perforated black.

Here are the pics. Sorry for the lack of vacuuming.

The wheelskins are no replacement for a professional wrap job, but who can complain for thirty-somethingbucks.

Ouch - I think that would hurt, but hey, maybe you'll gain some much needed girth

Cool, just threw it out there as an inexpensive option. The stitches dont bug me at all. My hands are either purely at 9 and 3 o'clock or 10 and 2 o'clock, so I don't run into the stitches. Gotta admit the cover felt a little weird at first, but now thats it's broken in, it's really comfortable. It also seems to be progressively conforming to the shape of the steering wheel so it fits like a glove and feels tight on there.

Doesn't look bad at all.
I have bog hands, so that would actually help me.

Hey, I don't mean to be critical but your hand should not be on the shift **** unless you are shifting and your hands should be at 10 and 2. If you want to keep your left hand on top and right on the ****, fine, do your thing. I just wanted to say something because it really bugs me when I'm riding in someone's car and they hang on to that **** for no reason. Think about it with only one hand on the wheel you have only 50% of the control you could have if you had both hands on it. Here ends my pointless rant :-), have a good day.
