Well if you want or need to take up all that space, and if you like the looks of it, then go for it. I guess you already know the enclosure requirements for the subs you'll be using, and sized the box accordingly, right? I only ask because that box looks damned big, unless you're going with a ported design.

Looks are subjective, eveyone has an opinion, but in this case yours is what matters, because it's your car and your system. Whether I like it or not shouldn't matter to you.

FYI you cant have images in ur sig....they will erase ur sig...they did it to me. HAHA....
personally I dont like to have something that fills the whole back.

 

Sounds like you're using 15" subs?

 

straight off of pioneers website it say that the subs need 1.5 cubic feet

 

man thats big. i suggest redesigning it or something maybe fiberglass i have 2 15's and i fiberglassed it but seems like my boxes aren't as big as yours.

 

internal dimentions are 38.5x18.5x7.5inches which equals 3.11 cubic feet
external dimentions are 41.5x21.5x9 inches

 

shouldnt be bad, the only thing i can think of that would help and i dont know if you have this in mind is to not just make the box and set it in there cause i think that it would look wierd, i guess im saying make it so that it flows into the car cause with the gap at the back of the looks wier IMO, but overall it should be nice
