Default New system what you think



My buddy bill an his coworker finished my car in time for Hot import NIghts that is in San jose-- if you want to know more I will have my car at the Atomic Booth-- I ran all Atomic speakers an amps in my car---

well the subs are Atomic 10 inch there about 250$ each-- I have 2 800 watt amps an one 500 watt -- an the mids in my car are 6.5 front an rear there 300 something--

I will get a price on the amps I forgot how much-- but the subs are running at 4 ohms an they can run at 1 ohm stable ---

^^ you mean the amps can run at 1 ohm stable?? sounds like maybe your subs are dual 4 ohm and you have 2 per amp parallel/parallel making 1 ohm at each 800 watt amp?? sound nice.....


what kind of electrical upgrades do you have?? if you don't have any already, i suggest the big 3 upgrade and a new battery (optima maybe??).... then after that, get a bigger alternator and you'll see what those amps are really capable of!! only 2 drawbacks with the H.O. alternator are: loss of warranty on electrical (shouldn't be an issue really), and the HO alt's are $$$

The subs are Atomic QT 10D ,250.ea the amps are two Atomic 800.1 mono blocks
and one Atomic Trinity 504 the 4 channel is 300. and the 800.1 are 599. ea. He also has Atomic components front and rear the fronts arre Quantum Series 6.5c2 280. pr. the rears are quantum 5.2c2 260. pr Labor unknown. but I havent been home in three days and my shop rate is 65 hr. plus supplys.

Thse subs are d4's system is ste up at 4ohms no heat problems plus pleanty of control on the subs bass response is still very good with hatch open. The sub amps are also d classs. Sorry for poor typing but I am dead tired..I just finised painting his amp cover. so it can be delivered to him.

that set up is nice bet it hits pretty hard too
