yeah, waiting on a diy. How exactly did you reassemble the door panel once you broke apart the oem melted seal thingys?

Sorry No DIY!... But here is a quick over view..

Remove Door Panel,

Remove Plastic Welds and screws (4) from behind door card..

Remove Stock Cloth

Power Sand away any left over cushioning stuck to the plastic card.

Use Headliner Glue on the door Card and back of vinyl...

Apply Vinyl to Door Card... and smooth over with hands... Peal away vinyl completely and then reapply... this is for added adhesion.

Cut away excess vinyl leaving enough (1.5-2in) to fold and glue vinyl over the edges..

let sit in cool temp over night.. and smooth out bubbles as needed.

Improvies on putting the door panel back in place without the plastic welds... ex. superglue, hot glue (doesn't work so well in hot climates). I used small 1/4in long self tapping screws with small washers

Well it was about 10 bucks for 2 yards of vinyl. 5 bucks for sanding disc and 2-4 bucks for the screws and washers.

so your looking at around 20-25 bucks!

No I haven't done the rear panels... And i have no plans as of yet... But the way the rear panels are designed, it will be hard to do it with vinyl and without professional resources

Hey rockbrawler884 the rear panel is done just like the front panel. i've seen some of your work on SL so it should be no problem for you.

p.s. if your still in orland park i can help you do it, but i think you moved out of state. right
