Hey people. I am new to the audio thing and have no idea what i am doing as far as installing my amplifier and splicing the rca to the stock head unit. I took off the panels on the center console. just need help from hear on out. i also already have a spot to drill throught the firewall. just need help with the rest. Any suggestions???? I have a Kenwood mono amp 9103d that i want to connect with 2 12" kenwood subs w3011.

 

basically i have the wires connected but i dont know where i went wrong. There is no power going to the amp. so im stuck

i didnt really drill a hole either i just used the hole that the car already has...

i have the subs connected correct but the amp isnt recieving any power. i dont know where i went wrong.

yes i do. but i also lost the diagram that i was using that tell me which wires are which so im not sure now if i have the right wires spliced with each other

alright hold up....let me go check mine out cause the directions that kenwood gives you are all effed up....i had to do the trial and error way....

so where did u put the remote wire? it should be the blue

well me and my friend were trying to do this last night. he was the one messing with the wires. He says the Blue wire

 

try connecting the remote wire to the power on the amp see if it turns on, if it does then thats ur prob

 

my friend tried that yesterday and we got absolutly nothing

 

the problem that i found when i was trying to connect my power control wire was theres alot of blue and green and red and brown wires back there....so you cant rule out only one blue or one red cause theres more than one....epecially with this hu if it has the ipod connection


i have the kenwood KAC-X10D powering my 12" JL W6V2

 

hm well the way i did it was use a output converter that connects to my rear speakers... so my setup is a bit different then yours .......but where did u put the ground ?
