OEM Subwoofer replacement suggestions?
I want to replace the 10 inch sub that is in the Bazooka enclosure with an aftermarket. Any suggestions?
Any power level will do, I just want to see what the options are. Also, I'll definitely be sealing the port on the VSE.

There's someone here who replaced the stock Bazooka driver with some model of Alpine sub. Don't recall who it was, but they were very pleased with the results, so you might want to try and search for the thread. All you really need to do is determine the internal volume of the enclosure, then find a sub you like which is spec'd to function correctly with that volume of air.
You also might want to PM Mandos, as I'd bet the eD 10" slim sub would fit, and it only requires 0.5' of space, which I'm sure the bazooka enclosure has.

yeah the bazooka is alright. its better when you use xB feel, but its just enough to know that there is a sub imo. if you're not looking for bass that will make your whole car shake, then its not too bad..
iono if it will fit in the OEM sub box, but the comps are ok as along as you power them well. i personally have a compVR 12 in my car and its perfect for me, sometimes even harder than what i would want. lol
