I haven't read the 34 pages of this, but if anyone can answer these questions, please do!
How much time would it take to do the two waterfall rails, the gauge cluster border, the two silver steering wheel segments, and the border around the shifter?
How much paint would you think that would take?
What kind of paint would you use (red color ideal)?
How much did yours cost total?
I'm guessing this is a pretty simple task. Especially since so many have done this themselves. Are there instructions in this giant thread?

If you use Krylon you willneed one can of what ever color you want and one can of Clear coat.......stay with the same brand of paint between color and clearcoat......
You willneed some 400grit wet sand paper and some 1000 grit paper......
Make sure you clean everything with rubbing alcohol or tack cloth.......
Make sure to use light coats and use several coats and let it dry properly........do not rush it......
Total cost to do mine was about $24 and took about 6 hours to do but came out really good......most of that was waiting for it to dry properly and wet sanding......
Also let it dry overnight to cure up before install as the paint can stillbe soft and when you install it can leave finger prints in the paint.......Summer is the best time to paint and on non humid days......

** I primed mine first before i did any painting.. i first used a primer , let that sit for about 4 hours .. then i sanded it down .. did about 2-3 coats of paint and then wetsanded that and clearcoated a lot
.. if you don't prime.. eventually the paint will chip off.. i learned from experience already...
Black Cherry Pearl is hard to find in a spray can so i custom ordered it online total for paint i paid like 40$ (bought 2 cans)
