I recently installed my component speakers with my friend's help and he did unplug most of the wiring under the dash. So after I put everything back, plugs, etc. My passenger side is uncontrollable from the driver side, the lock button works but the window can only be opened at the passenger side.

After i did that tutorial on resetting the windows and sunroof, driver side works with 1 touch but passenger is still uncontrollable, i have to push it on the passenger side control to open it. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHATS GOING ON!? help please?

and yes I did search.

EDIT: even after doing that resetting, passenger 1 touch don't work! and I just noticed that the button is blinking

 

i had this same problem too, twice. i dont know what happened, but somehow it got solved on its own after a couple days or so.
tagging, for future reference in case i encounter it again

 

i never even bother re-setting mine, just wait a couple days and it will reset itself.

 

its been 2 days...

 

lol, well have you unplugged the battery again at all?
give it 2 more days.
if they still dont work by then, then id say take the door panels back off and make sure everythings connected.

 

this happens to me when i disconnect the battery, drivers side passenger window button dont work, but the passanger does and my sunroof dont work either lol, i think ive had these for about 3 weeks. ill take it to the dealer and see what they tell me. i havent reset anything either since i dont know how to do that.

 

well then you should prob look it up.
your gonna waste your time going to the dealer because they just gonna,
A.) tell you to reset it
B.) do it for you and prob charge you

 

^ lol. when you disconnect the battery, you have to hold each window button for 3 seconds to activate the controls. When activating the controls, you have to use the respectable side. Ex: Driver window, use the window lock on the driver side, passenger window, use the window lock on the passenger side.

 

ok does that affect my sunroof aswell, and if it does will this fix it too?

 

Yes it does. The motors have to reset and relearn their positions.

Np lol. I didn't know either till I got ____ed and pushed the window button as hard as I could then it moved. Lol..

 

I did all the steps on that resetting thing nothing works I DID IT FOR 5 TIMES

My sunroof auto opens and my driver side window does the 1 touch but the passenger is NOT WTFFF

 

100% correct you have to do each one on its respective side same for sunroof

if mine didnt "reset" real quick i chirped the tires a little bit lol went around my neighborhood threw it in reverse and then it worked lol so idk

 

LOL^. I guess harassing your car will also force it to operate correctly based on the above statement.

 

i guarantee you that has nothing to do with it.

 

This happened to maybe once, out of all the local LED swaps ive done. All I did was unplug the passenger switches for 30 secs and replugged them back in and it worked again.
