I think it's popular with the xA/xB people, but I don't think there are very many tCs with it. A few I'm sure, but not a lot. But wouldn't a 200% height reduction make it um... nothing? Like if you lower it 100%, there's nothing there, so if you lower it 200%, it's like, super nothing??

^^^ you are soooo close on this.
if 100% reduction makes it nothing...
then 200% makes it the same height but on the underside of the car....

So if 200% is beyond negative, does that mean you would have to put the car in reverse to go forward?

isnt this the one that comes out at a slant? if i can remember right it is. we all want our shifter pointing at us. if you want a nice SS go with creative compact. its like 70 or 80 bucks, i have it and love it. it even comes with a **** so you dont have to get another one, that is unless you want a weighted ****. im please with mine, especially cuz of the price.

i just ordered it for my tc.. it should arrive tomorrow, i will put it on by the end of the week and let you all know how it is.. im not sure how to explain the 200% reduction in throw doesnt make sense to me either but who knows. i make sense of it like this " its adjustable, A LOT" haha.. my dad doesnt understand that either, maybe they need to rethink the product description?

i got my Perrin SS today. it says on the box "scion adjustable short shifter" "tc/xb/xa"

you can angle the **** in towards you away from you to the left or right... and the height is adjustable to VERY short and very long. so i assume because of its adjustability that it will fit all 3 cars. they give you spacers to shorten throw, im going to put them all in and fool around with the height after i have everything reassembled and see where i like it. i will take before and after pictrures and post them up later today or tomorrow.

where do i begin..

the install was incredibly frustrating. there is a one way washer which is IMPOSSIBLE to get off without destroying, and they dont give you a replacement one. also, the bolts they provide are not long enough to use 2 spacers. i had to use a dremel to grind off a lot of the plastic on the shifter assembly so that the cables would be able to function properly, i have it so low that its almost hitting the metal below the assembly. the throws are a lot shorter but the length is MAYBE an inch shorter with it adjusted as far down as possible... since ive already spent the money, im just going to cut and threat the shifter down more to make it shorter. i think this was the most overpriced rip off i could have picked. adjustable, maybe for an xa or xb... not for a tc... go with the twm stage 2 or something else...
