phone/stereo question
I'll try to make this simple and not confusing, but no guarantees. I have a phone (LG Dare) with a 3.5mm jack on it. If i plug my phone into my AUX input in my car using a double male, 3.5mm cable, I get a message on my phone saying that because there is no mic. on the cable the mic on the phone is disabled. If I put the stereo on AUX and make a phone call, I can hear what the other person is saying but without a mic, i obviously can't respond.
My question is: Does a cable exist the would have two male 3.5mm ends, and a mic. in the middle that would allow me to use my phone and listen through the speakers in my car?
----I know a bluetooth system would work obviously, i'm just trying to see if this configuration is possible.

the 3.5 jack on the phone is designed for a headset setup..
the jack shares both the audio out and in (the mic) functions..
as far as an adapter to split it? dunno..

I am basically looking to try something similar in theory to a wired headset, where there are two earphones and a mic on the cable, only instead of the cable ending with the headphones, it would end in the 3.5mm jack that i plug in to my AUX input
