Photoshoot of the work I've done on my interior!
Clazzio Black outer/Black Suede inner/Red Stitching, Suede door panel accents, suede flooring in the trunk and suede sub box, possibly doing the A/B/C pillars next, not really decided, might be reaching the realm of too much suede... lol I was thinking maybe pleather type deal on the upper cabin area? on those pillars at least, then save the headliner for last, down the road..
Avic D3 installed with 2x12" Memphis Audio subs powered by a 250W class-D Memphis Audio amp (won the subs and amp at Scion Exposed 5 here in Seattle!)

feel free to link back to any of them on the site, I own and maintain that site and host all my pics there.
any criticisms are welcome, as are suggestions, if you hate it, cool, if you love it, cooler.
phone pictures are to show I have fixed my AVIC with a USB based charging accesory with an ipod-dock pass-through in order to charge my iPhone 3G from it, instead of just being able to listen to music. It's a really easy and cheap fix, 15$ shipped for the part 'kensington 4 in 1 ipod car charger' on amazon.
i'm missing the side brackets for my D3 right now, buying it from a friend who used to own a tC, so he's getting them to me tomorrow along with the box and everything else with it.
also, that's how I have my nav antenna right now, looking for suggestions on how/where else to route it, i'm willing to do whatever!
and that's me and my mom's car in the garage. where I keep my tC if I'm lucky
and I know the suede is pretty common, but I'm proud of the work I did, and I found it on sale at JoAnn fabrics 40% off, so 13$ a yard
woot!
kinda looks purple in the pictures, definitely black though, I'm chalking that up to how overcast it is, plus that it's my gf's camera and I'm not toally sure it's all set up right.
also notice I don't get have my badgeless garnish, 5 months later, woot i-Kona!
Everything on my car besides the grills and antenna was done *after* I ordered the garnish... seriously.
have a look!

i'll probably run it to the A-pillar, thanks!
so many views, so few comments, maybe i'm not cool enough...
if only i could be controversial like 'karbontC' man... glad he's gone...

the interior looks sweet, man. don't let the lack of comments get to you. people are just lazy.
i'm guilty too. i'll look at someone's hard work and say to myself, "that's really good stuff." but sometimes i don't take the time to let them know. i suspect that happens more often than not, hence my signature.

it's all coming together is all, had my car since dec '05, 2mi off the lot in my brand new '06 FM tC! no additions except for the upgraded stereo for ipod and side-curtain airbags (an option for 05 and '06 and maybe '07? but standard for '08 and '09)
i was in a scion club back then around here, but then i left for college, and when i came back... they were no longer...
so umm, now i'm in a different club, and well, i worked summers and made other money selling stupid things i owned but never used (guitars, computer stuff, etc.) and started modding my car.
everything i've done so far is purely cosmetic which is kinda sad, but next on my list is a Tanabe Concept G, so that's gonna be nice, and then shortly after that, a Fujita black intake, then I can move my ballasts to a dryer location in my engine bay, and maybe do some painting up there..
the car was a gift, so I don't wanna go voiding my powertrain warranty because that'd be a slap in the face to my dad... (even though he just ordered a chip and exhaust for his 335i

JoAnn sells microsuede. Close but, not the real thing, but who cares for the price. real suede doesn't have a purplish hue color to it. Im only saying cuz i have it in my car on so does UnIT_Xer0. But overall the car looks good and hey, it even matches the suede in the seats
just got back from our meet and greet, everyone liked the suede and the new HU and subs
got the side brackets for the HU installed and moved the nav antenna to the passenger side A-pillar, was really hard to get it up that tiny hole under the A-pillar cover.

looks good bro, i think you did a nice job sueding the interior panels....
more pics of the box?
time a gauge led swap ;)
overall looks sick, glad you got that nav antenna moved.... make sure it's not getting pinched where it goes down your a-pillar, and coil the excess cable LOSELY in an s-shape
nice tC tho chief!

I like everything..but as mentioned before..the satellite antenna KILLS it. Just run it over behind the glove box and up right where the passenger side a-pillar meets the dash and stick it right there so there's little/no wiring showing and it's tucked away in the corner so it's barely noticeable. Other than that..nice job man!

Just got back from a car show today, raining though, so I didn't get to show off my interior work as much as I wanted... so... that was sad...
2nd place tC.
iunno what it is, but I really like this hat, it seems like it would be way too 'loud' for me, but everyone i've met really likes it too, and i'm just a hat wearing person, so, sorry but no
Once you meet Tyler(optional).......you learn the hat fits.........he is a cool kid.......now I got get him to come down and help me gut my ride and install the headliner and panels........looking good man..........wait till you hear the subs I jsut dropped in........
