Pictures of stock 08 sub and amp

For those of you who have not seen the stock 08 sub, here ya go. I can't believe how cheap it looks, but how loud it is.

Where is that mounted? It's a lot different than the 07 sub.

it looks like it came out of the trunk space where the foam things sit. maybe from the passanger side...??

That's exactly where it is - pass side next to the spare. I've been impressed with it so far in my '08.

loud from something that doesn't look like there's much to it, right? welcome to sound enclosures, amazing when tuned right something not so large, can pump out some sounds.

Subwoofer is nice, but I like how I can fit all my school books in the foam thing that fits right in there. This car sure can carry a lot of stuff and hide it all very well.

I guess it all depends on what your definition of loud is. When I crank my system and the bass is moving the hair on my head.....to me thats loud.

I was absolutely blown away by the power from that little sucker. It POUNDS in comparison to my stock GLS Premium system I had in the VW.

Yeah it comes stock now with any of the stereo selections.

Have to agree. Sounds great. And I put the Pioneer D3 in my 08, and it only made it sound better!
