I current have the 08 scion TC. Now i have the factory radio with the sirius (mounted reciever)setup from TRD. Now if i were to get this Pioneer as a replacement radio would that reciever wire still plug up to this radio ?

Aslo where can i find the harness for the wire matchup for this radio. I been searching with no luck but i know its out there.

Now i am assuming the TRD sirius reciever setup will work with this correct ?

 

Looks like this is all i would need. I can i guess modify the mount braket to set it back just a little to allow for the door to close.

no any after market radio will NOT work with factory harness

The ipod will not work,aux,xm or siruis. yes they are made by Pioneer buy they will not plug right in to an after market.

If you want a D3 you will need the CD-i200 ipod cable and a XM or Siruis tuner box made by Pioneer or Terk.

you have to buy another one. Kinda sucks I know but the harness wil not match up.

Pioneer GEX-P10XMT will do xm and nav traffic
Pioneer GEX-P920XM will do xm only
Pioneer SIR-PNR2 will do sirius

yeah im about 95% sure it wont plug in

 

the only aftermarket decks to plug into the stock harness would be by eclipse and thats only a few of them.

blaze is right though, you have to get another harness to plug it into the car.

d3 > pioneer harness > metra harness > car

 

Guys i am not asking of the OEM harness can work with the radio, i am asking if i get the new harness so that the OEM will in turn link up will the sirius option on the radio work with my exsiting sirius reciever.

 

no it still wont work that way the radio has its own harness made for that siruis box. The D3 will use a p bus cable

Kinda sucks that you gotta buy new equipment I know but cest la vie

 

Naa if it doesnt fit then i dont buy the radio.
