I have the avic d1 and it does help you get to your destination although sometimes I get confused and turn either too late or too earlier.. lol. The best thing about pioneer navigation is the quality and resolution of the maps; they are very clear and detailed.

I really have no opinion...I mean it has great resolution and sound quality, but sometimes the directions were just way off. I can say first hand that Pioneer Customer Service is NOT very good. I called them regarding the faulty directions, and they were anything but helpful. I sold my older car which had the avic-n1 in it, and I really didn't mind giving to the new owner. I would rather get a Garmin or TomTom. I dont think I will be buying a Pioneer Navigation system again anytime soon.

Okay, yeah I heard the n1 had some problems, but they have upgraded and get better with the n1,n2,n3, d1,d2, and now Z1. They should have learned something through all those new upgrades. God Bless
