Im getting this unit for my 2007 TC. Could someone that already has this unit advise if the Radio Door on the TC closes with this unit installed? I guess if it does not then then I would just remove the door or leave it open.

Also how does the console look with the door removed in case I go that route?

You may have to drill holes into the brackett so it can sit a little further back... Thats what I did for my Kenwood and it worked out very nice. Personally the console looks kinda goofy without the door ......

 

I kind of figured it would. I may just leave it on and open. Depends on how far back I would have to set the unit.

 

Like I said it didnt setback too far so it shouldnt look bad... Nice HU btw.

 

Thanks. I hope it works well. Seems to have lots a features. Dont know how Im going to like the smaller screen being use to the 7" on the Clarion.

 

That is a great HU and I think it might not look as flush as it does now but like Nick said you might have to drill some new holes to make it fit nice and flush
