Default Please Help! Trying to Connect Ipod into 2011 base OEM tC Unit

Aux plug doesn't work. My 07 didn't came with iPod plug connection since it was the base 06-07 crappy unit.

This is the full rearview...

I can't figure out what this plug is for?

I thought I could used RCA red/white plugs until I found out its for subroofer useage. So that's out the question.

The 06-07 base sucks major rear; I recently put it back in so I can connect my iphone! Since I'm still used to using the '11 unit; its really getting on my nerves! lol

I'm pretty sure that it is a standard usb port. You just plug the ipod cable in and run it wherever(glovebox, cubby, armrest...). Other than that, how well did it install. Do the steering wheel controls work?

I tried plugging iPod wire and it wouldn't go in! So il guessing there's USB adapter that has to be used.

Controls work! But doesn't match orange light since '11 tCs are redish orange.

There is a usb adapter cable that toyota sells. The xb people figured it out. I don't remember the link so you'll have to google it.

^X2.

I'd personally be looking for the reason as to why the aux port doesn't work in the center console. Could be as simple as the cable is no good.
