is it possible to use this for my car if I dismantle it? and given these specs, would it even sound decent?

first of all, you're looking at a 15 inch sub, that's hella big for the rear space in the tC... you would need a huge enclosure to hold that thing in the trunk.
second of all, it's an 8 ohm sub, and most car audio amps run at 4 ohms and lower... the resistance would be too high to be anywhere near efficient... you could connect a 200 watt amp that 's rated at 4 ohms, but it will only put out 100 watts at 8 ohms... you would have to feed the sub twice as much power in order to get the same sound as a sub designed for car audio.
In short, I wouldn't recommend it, and it would only be a waste of time and money...

your gonna need to have two of them to be able to drop the ohms....
not a good idea
put them on craigslist and use the money to go and buy some $100 subs
but hey. its your car and equipment... just my $.02

two 15's in the back of a tC?... now that would be crazy... but still a waste of time and money... you might already own it, but you'd have to invest a lot of cash to get it to work well in the car... not worth it... just stick it in your home theater/man-cave/DJ booth and use it for the purpose it was built for...
dont do it man, first off the OHM loads wouldnt be right, if you have no use for it anymore sell it on craigslist or take it to your local pawnshop, my shop would give you prob 100-150 for a single or maybe more if you are going to get something of theirs, believe me im a pawnbroker id rather have music equipment in my shop than have any more car audio
