thanks GQ
and to dospod: nothin wrong with kickers, maybe theyre not top of the line but I've been rolling with mine for a while and they have a nice tight sound. i think the way you enclose the sub, and how you power it is more important than the sub itself.

yeah. i mean its good to have nice sub no offense. but. something compare to like custom box 2 12 xplod sub in really well sealed trunk. like foamed up dynamated can sound better than higher end 2 12 subs. how solid ur trunk and how good is ur box can make alot of change.

haha true, yeah I'd love to have some higher end subs if I had the dough, but I chose to spend more on the enclosure rather than buy new subs with a stockbox.

look around and you canf ind audio equipment cheap; most of my stuff i've bought is about 50% what shops charge and have 3 friends who've all worked in audio shops and one that's been through acoustic edge that all they charge me is either beer or pizza for the work; you dont have to pay a ton for a perfect box; just have to know the right person

Default my system

here are some pics of my system everyone, here is the list of what it all is. Alpine type S coaxial 6 1/2 rear speakers Apline type S component door speakers with tweeter mounted in stock location. Alpine type R 12" subwoofer, Clarion VX409 Headunit, Apline MRP F250 four channel amplifier to drive the coaxials and components and a alpine MRP M450 mono amp powering the type R. The amp in the headunit does nothing.

Yeah, no one is jealous of that, trust.

I'm jealous of your mad spelling skills though. You're in college right?
