People in SoCal

WhiteBlazer01 is in Tustin (Orange County). I like Trung, cool as heck, but to make the drive to SJ when you can drive 1.5 to get the same thing done. Call me crazy, but I think ya'll are crazy for going to SJ. Also Garage1217 can do them (he's in AZ) , but still closer than the LEDHeadz guys. I'm not trying to hate, just pointing out your options.

well... certain people prefer some people over others... it's not a location thing.. it's how all of us do business differently... and in most cases.. it'll end up costing around the same price, if not less.

i've had people drive over 4 hours to see me... there's one guy who wanted to drive 10+ hours too, but his trip had to be cancelled due to some other issues.. i'm sure when he can, he'll still make the crazy drive.. (why he doesn't just ship it? i dunno..)

and do note that there are people in socal waiting for me to make a trip down... and it'll happen... so it's not like i'm not ever gonna stop continuing providing my reputable service or stay away from socal.

No Need to give yourself credit, or praise.

Just remember, I don't insist on people in San Jose to come to me instead of you. And I also don't ask other people to put up posts giving me praise (I didn't ask lil_LEX_24O to write that).

P.S. I still don't think you have learned to watch what you say Trung. You have (and continue to) offend a lot of people by insisting on your services instead of others. Just watch whos toes you step on.

Whiteblazer - Why are you getting so defensive about something that someone else said? Squall was just relpying to what lil_lex said about people being "crazy" for driving that far. He wasn't telling everyone in CA to come to San Jose just so he could do the led stuff, he was just explaining why people might do it.

Sounds to me that either your afraid of losing work, or just really freakin uptight. Either of which, just chill.

Lol, I'm actually a very chill guy. I'm just running out of patience of Trung's self acclamation and putting down other modders about their creativity.

Like I said, I have never redirected Trung's customers to me (especially those in San Jose). I of all people, know how business works... especially business ethics.

I've met him before, and I'm sure he has done great work for you, but Trung... you can do business wherever you want. You've said it yourself a few times in other posts, just watch what you say. I've read too many posts where you come off a little offensive, and very often sly about plugging your name in somewhere to solicit business. Other people have commented on this, and you have apologized, and said you should watch what you say.

If you care to comment Trung, please do so.

Hey guys, play nice

Anyways I do not have any fancy video, but I do tons of work and cater to everyone in the usa. I answer pm's quickly and give you straight up answers about what is practical and works day and night. As always anyone that rolls down is welcome to hang out at my place! Also if anyone is close to any of the good swappers I know of, I am first to tell them they have a local. But I hope you keep your business with me as LED swapping is not just for fun, it kicks @ss and I enjoy it! Not just business only! I also stock thousands of leds and can make any color combo, or reproduce pretty much anything you have seen online!

Gotta love the look on peoples faces when they jump in there ride and grin ear to ear! Just do not get in a wreck driving home as allot of people have claimed they cannot keep there eyes off there gauges and hvac after I get done rocking things!!

Here are a few quick examples of my work Wish I had taken more pics over the last year. Some of the hottest work I never had time to get pics of! Cannot wait to see some of my customers at car shows again this year so I can snag pics!

i guess another apology is needed. long days and grumpiness don't mix well with a keyboard and mouse.

i will be frankly honest... my modesty to provide good service to others has left me behind in the dust with regards to having a decent income... along with other financial issues... i'll say i'm a bit jealous of the fact that you and jeremy are doing a bit well...

and in some ways the multiple threads with pics you both post make me feel bad and in some sense offends me because it's like shoving it in my face showing off..

if you notice, i rarely post any pics of my work... whatever customers that want to do it do so... only recent did i change my avatar (after close to being the same after like over 2 years) to be able to show some work..
we've all discussed about my labor prices (jeremy had talked about it too...).. and i don't do well to charging more than what i think in my mind is fair... despite the norm.

i'll admit.. i'm not normal... i don't expect myself to me anytime soon... this community is my life and my passion... and my actions all originate from the truth that i want to help the best i can.

I know you mean well Trung, but it's happening a little too often. Yes, I do a lot of conversions, but you have to understand, I market to Scions, Toyotas, GM, Honda/Yamaha/Kawasaki/Suzuki Motorcycles. Although I'm on many, many other forums as a sponsor and contributor, I am on ScionLife more than others. For example, I've been doing LED modifications (and sales) on Xbox-Scene.com for 3 years now.

If you feel jealous, or offended that I (and Jeremy - no affiliation) are getting a lot of business, there is no reason to react as such.

I have had a few customers ask me to match your prices (I'm sure you know this), and I will not do so. I feel for what I do, my prices are very reasonable.

I really don't like complaining about someone (especially my competitors), as it makes me look bad. Just think, I have you, Jeremy, Engifneer, several other xbox modders, dooly from newcelica.org, local best buy, local circuit city, local al & ed's, bluegauges.com, and many, many other people as my competitors that I have to worry about. I have a lot on my plate, and I really don't like making a fuss about anyone.

So, although I can post a few links to reference what I am speaking of, I wish to drop this and move on. Just please, please, please. Watch what you say, please don't knock anyone's work, insist on creative credit (I saw a post where you said you were the first to do the 3rd brake light mod, but I didn't say anything), and please don't threadcrap.

Just keep up the creative work, be fair to all the other forum sponsors and abide by the rules, and we can continue to have a great forum.

Thanks!

You do great work man No need to be jelous, I have put hundreds of hours now getting my swap service were it is and most all the profit as been re-directed back into inventory, new high end equipment and new ideas. Hit things hard man and keep pushing and showing what you can do. Just because we toss up tons of pics does not mean you should not! You have done some great looking stuff. Keep it posted and run with it! Don't just "fade" away haha, no pun intended fade man!

Agreed, you do great work, and you don't need to be jealous. Jeremy and I are both forum sponsors, so we can advertise everywhere, and post pictures, and our customers help support the site.

Either way, just keep helping the site, and stay creative!

That is one wacked out set of gauges.

This is probably my favorite HVAC that I've ever seen. I think mine will be like this but maybe white.

I always wondered if one could do that needle gradient. Nice demo graphic - there are a lot of things that I like in all of the photos above and I hope to take parts from several to make what I would consider to be The Ultimate gauge setup...

I wasn't trying to tell people NOT to drive to SJ. I was jsut putting out there that there are folks closer that do just as good of a job. WhiteBlazer didn't in ay shape nor form promote me to make that comment, but he is one of the people I was conversing with about some lED work, good customer service (same with Garage1217). I'm not trying to take away business from anyone, I'm all for one getting their hustle on. I just thought it desrved to be put out that their were other chioces. Why wait for months until someone comes to your area, when you can make a much shorter drive? That's all I'm saying. I understand some people are more comfortable going with someone esle, but I also wanted to make sure it was known that there was someone esle with just as much skill.

Finished up my gauges this weekend. I had to fix a broken needle.
