I'm looking for some clean installs of Sat radio. I'm leaning towards getting an XM, but I can't seem to find an install I like. Please post some pictures and/or suggestions.

I've seen some mounts on myradiostore.com but curious as to see what they look like on the tc.

yeah i was looking into gettin the siruis rear view mounted one but I have to see one.

I do belive LaydDly's is an aftermarket XM or maybe the aftermarket plugs into the factory xm???

Here is a thread I posted over a year ago asking the same question. I'm starting to like the one at the bottom. That person hasn't logged in, in a few months so I doubt they will answer any questions.

It looks like the plastic around the radio is mounted between the cubby hole and the outer plastic (if that makes sense). Do you think there was any cutting? Also where is the cheapest place I can find a commander

 

Which radio do you have? I have a Adapter that will do XM or sirius thru your factory radio. Thats Clean!

 

Ok, well I'm going to install the commander like in the thread I posted.

Does anyone know if I'll still need to buy the PIE adapter thing. Can I find this locally?

Well I chatted with lyrictenor1 from the thread I posted a few posts up. They had the XM commander mounted in the cubby hole and I ended up going with that. It turned out really nice.

 

gosh, she just has to brag showing off her Avic...

 

I doubt this poster's still around, but does anyone know if that XM unit looks like it's a type of fiberglass make-up? I'm tryin to fit in a Sirius Sportster unit somewhere and I'm diggin this....
