Default Powering a 10w7

Well, i went to the audio shop and decided on getting a 10w7 High output box. The audio guy let me hear it powered to a 1000/1 amp. It sounded great, but my question is that too much power for it? Will it eventually blow the sub? And if possible, will the 12 w7 High output box fit? Or will i be fine with the 10 w7 and the 1000/1?

1000/1 is alittle bit more than enough than to power it. I think the sub would like even more power

of you get a 10w7... get a 10w7... if you decicde you want to jump to 1000.1... go for either the 12 or 13w7...

10w7 will handle a 1000/1 all day long, just don't drop it below tuning frequency and try to stay away from sine wave tones...

if you can fit it, get the 12w7 with the HO box.... the JL H.O. boxes are monsterous and sound excellent!!!!
