Default powering xbox and 32" LCD tv???

iam doing a new setup in my trunk for the next car show. I want to install my xbox 360 and a 32" lcd tv in my trunk. Im curious on what type power inverter to use. To my understanding i have to buy an inverter and wire it directly to my battery. Anyone have input on what to do? thanks alot

Well you are going to need to determine how much power you are going to need. In amps and in watts. The TV should draw about 22 amps and 250 watts... this is me just guessing on an average TV. Get 1000 watt power inverter and hook that bad boy up to your battery. Make sure you dont drain your battery playing too many video games!

Mount the inverter in your trunk In the floor and mount some sort of auxiliary plug infer the car and run it to external power so your don't destroy your battery

just keep an eye on it and make sure the fans for it can breathe or it will get hot running a tv and xbox and cook itself fast........and be sure to hook a shut off switch between the battery and the inverter so you can isolate it from main car functions during normal driving and such.......always safe to keep things like that isolated from the normal car functions if you can help it.

im actually only goin to run it for shows... everything will come out after that day. im going to use 8 gauge wire to feed it from the battery. two lines positive and negative terminals. and iam only going to power on the inverter when at the show and turn it off when i drove home
