I have a 08' tC with the premium audio system and I'm wondering how do I add satellite radio to it??? I had the manual for it but I lost it and now im stuck. Does anybody know how I could add sirius or xm to my premium audio?? any help would be appreciated thanx!

 

Do you already have the antenna and everything? Mine had it on the top of the dash. Can you preview either service?

 

I press the satellite button on the radio and nothing happens....maybe I need a sirius or xm tuner installed???

 

Sounds like it. Then you use the serial # to activate it.

 

Yes, that's it exactly. I bought mine with Sirius, but once the 'free' 9-month subscription ran out and I decided I didn't want it any more, it bugged me that there was no way to eliminate Sirius from my source choices when cycling through them (FM, AM, CD, Sat, Aux). Then I decided to remove the Sirius tuner module (mounted under the passenger seat) since I wasn't going to use it, and found it no longer appeared when cycling though the source choices. This leads me to believe that's why you don't see that choice, because you either don't have a tuner module for sirius or xm, or if you do, it's not connected.

 

so then what is needed exactly for Sirius to be added to the 08 tc? I have the premium audio system in my car as well.
