I just got an '09 tC. I have the premium pioneer stereo upgrade. I have a questions about it's random function.

When I'm playing an mp3 CD the next song will be random if I let the current song end; But if I press "next" on the unit it just moves to the next numerical song on the list. It's still in random mode and the next song will be random if you let the current one finish.

Is this common on all Scions? Is there a way to fix this and make the unit select a random song when I press "next" on the unit?

 

nope.. that's just the way it is...

I noticed this too, and it really bugs me. Someone at Scion evidently thought random means "only random sometimes."

 

this happens on my non-premium stereo too......nothing you can do except pres the random button twice to get to the next random song. that's what I do...
