problems with my subs. HELP!
long story short...My amp works (it lights up and all the wires are in their right places)
but the subs arn't working.
the only thing I would think I did wrong is connecting the rca converter wrong.
Can someone tell me which harness do I have to tap in to for that.
I looked at the wiring diagram and saw that white and red are right back speakers and yellow and brown are left speaker (made sure that the polarities are right)
what can it be??
when looking at the back of the radio, which harness contains the speaker wires and did I get it right or wrong?
thanks

can you put the long version in. there is a lot of information missing from this that is vital.
aka: using a LOC? what are you using for a remote wire? what are you using for your gains etc.....

This is basically my set up? Ground wire is 4g to ground. remote wire is 8g all the way up to the cig. batt. goes down under comes up to the batt. up front. bridged my subs wires to ch.1-4 and rca cable to the low input 1 and 2.
anything else?? I don't know what you mean by gains and loc?

your still talking in jibberish. complete sentences with grammer may help you get an answer to your question.
1. If your running 8ga as a remote wire, your crazy. Might you be talking about using 8ga. as your power wire? You should be using the same gauge power wire, as your ground wire. From what i can gather from you, 4ga is overkill. 8ga is just fine.
2. 12-16ga. is fine for the remote wire.
3. Your power wire must run straight from the battery to the amplifier. Place a properly amped in-line fuse within 18in. of the battery.
3. Do not run the remote wire from the cig. lighter. Do it correctly and tap the blue remote wire from the back of the radio.
4.
makes absolutely no sense.
5. LOC stands for a Line Output Converter. It is used for Head Units that do not have RCA outputs. It taps into the standard speaker wires and converts the signal into RCA's low level output. If you have the Pioneer Premier head unit, you have RCA outputs and do not need a LOC; just run RCA cables to the amp.
I hope this helps. But please, complete sentences with grammer may help you get better answers to your question.
