Default Question about JVC indash DVD player

i was wondering if anyone here has the JVC KW-AVX706. it's on crutchfield for like 750 and i was looking for a dvd player. just wondering on the quality of JVC product.

also crutchfield says the player doesn't fit. but it also says the double din kenwood doesn't fit either but i've seen people on here with that kenwood player.

my last question is should i get the kenwood ddx7017 or this JVC KW-AVX706

thanks in advance

I think JVC is a fine company. You can usually tell by how much stuff they sell, it's variety (tv,vcr, dvd, radio, amp,cd,). I think there ......ok-good. I've been working with car audio for many years now, and alot of people swear by certain companies...I think JVC has it's following.

Ok, good questions. I think that they'll both fit, but I'm not 100% sure. Close though. Worst case scenario is that you have to machine, fabricate, or buy a piece. But I don't think that's going to be thecase. I think you'll be fine.

I'm partial to Kenwood. But remember, buy it for what your going to USE it for!!!
And don't pay too much!
That means..............................................
Look around at crutchfield, but DON"T buy from them!............$$$
try amazon, e-bay, buy.com
whatever it takes. JUST DON"T PAY TOO MUCH!
You'll feel like poo later.

You can get the Kenwood DDX 7017 all over the internet from $700 to $800. JVC is a good product, but would still do the Kenwood. The double DIN Kenwood will fit, I had one!
