Question On Hatch Shocks

Question On Hatch Shocks
Does anyone know of stronger/aftermarket shocks that will hold more weight than the original ones on the hatch? I need some that can hold more than 6 pounds. I did a test using two three-pound dumbells, and it held the first one, but when i put the second one on, it didnt hold... So i need a better shock!
Any Help/Suggestions?

really easy, make sure you have two people when doing this or your going to kill your self when that hatch drops. Basically the part where the strut connects to the hatch there will be a clip that holds it in take a flat head screw driver and pry it off. Once that is off you just pull it off the ball screw on the hatch (when doing that have some one hold the hatch). After that all you do is twist the strut counter clock wise and should come off. Note supposing they are the same size screw when you take off the strut you should be able to use the new one and screw it back in. After putting in the new one plug it back into the ball screw on the hatch and clip it in.
Beware of the clip haha that thing is a _____ to work with.

Thinking he is going for a "burlwood" spoiler.
I agree with the 1 at a time install. I put a new grill on my Ram that added about 10lbs to the weight of the hood and it wouldn't stay open. Got some HD struts and installed 1 at a time.
