Hey guys and gals, me and my wife own a 06 tC that we got back in July of 05. So far, the car's been almost trouble free, aside from one leaky a/c seal, but now I think we got the wrong stereo. We have the auxilary port in the center console, which would make me assume that the head unit would have an aux function, but it doesn't. We have the volume control with the buttons, not the ****, and it seems like the 06's and on, all have the **** volume control. Can someone please tell me what the very first 06 models should have for the stereo?

 

'06 is specified as having the ****. You could discuss this with your dealer if you haven't already, and if they're not willing to do anything, you could escalate to Scion. No idea if they'll do anything for you, but it's certainly worth a try, as it seems you have the incorrect unit. Good luck!
