quick but stupid question about LED swap
To begin with, is there anyone in the New York area who does them just to be on the safe side of me f'ing something up?
Second question being, what parts do i need and tools that i need to do the LED swaps, like what kind of LED's would i need? what kind of resistors would i need, etc.... and what tools besides a soldering iron becuase thats self explanitory lol
Sorry for the stupid questions but im lost

Get in contact with Garage1217 and he can send you all the leds and resistors you need, he has great customer service also, he was there to answer any of my questions that I had...his site is www.garage1217.com and he will also tell you everything you need to use...I just went to radio shack and got a 15 watt soldering iron and rosin core solder, also you may wanna get some de-solder braid to remove the solder off of the back of the LCD screen on the HVAC controls...it was really easy when I did mine, now I've done my sideview mirror LEDs also...
Check out the how to's on here for the info on the swaps along with the circuit mod for the hvac. The parts for a standard swap are around $25 - $35 usually for the typical swaps.
I can answer any questions you may have as well.

Yea, Engifineer is right. Just check out the DIY's. If you cannot figure it out, go here and buy the kits from Jeremy http://garage1217.com/album1_025.htm. He's located in Arizona and is a very trusted swapper on this site along with Engifineer and Squall. I am located in Upstate NY and mainly have been doing local swaps for people who usually buy their own LED's and kits nad then I will install it for them....Or if they want, I will purchase the kits for them. Anyways, I am in NY but it seems like your in the City...about 2.5 hours away from me. Anyways, Were all here to help. Good luck. Be careful with those LCD screens and the board.
