Just a quick question here...how much can I expect professional installation of an alram/remote start unit to run on an 05 manual tC? The unit is a Compustar 2W900FM-AS if that matters. Thanks guys...

 

I think remote start on a manual is illegal....well at least in Vegas and Hawaii....I wanted remote start on my 07 tc but i had to opt. for the one right below...I got a clifford matrix 10.5x 2-way lcd responder for about 450 after installation.

 

well... if you can actually find a shop that will and can do a manual remote start... expect to pay big money... i only do it for select people and usually charge 150 to do it... i make them sign all kinds of waivers and such so that i am no liable... so good luck finding a shop that will do it... they are far and few between

 

^ Agreed.... No shop in my regional area with do it anymore... too many damaged cars and hurt people... even with the safegaurds... Remote start isn't all it's cracked up to be as well I did a whole two way viper 791xv alarm for 850 installed at a local shop, which is pretty good.

 

The Compustar is built for manual transmissions though...do you guys think that if I get it installed through an authroized dealer they would do it? How much do you guys think it would be?
