try posting this in your regional forum, as laws vary from state to state. mostly not legal.

as far as wiring, you should search. there is a place in your fuseblock that has constant power, and you should use that, fusing after your connection.

Don't come straight off the battery.

I was sorta curious about this too. I know in IL it's illegal to have red or blue OUTSIDE as my cousin got a ticket for those before. However, I dont' know about the inside and for now I'm running a risk because they are *slightly* visible from the outside.

If you get pulled over by a cop, id be more worried about the reason he pulled you over for, not him seeing lights under your seats .

I seriously doubt it as long as they are not flashing red or blue or shining outside your car but if you call the police department oh they'll let you know... I was told by them that i can not have red or blue exterior light and that's all they told me so i'm getting mine done it'll be finished today also in blue. The fuse box would be your best bet there's a piece you can buy a your local auto store that you can use that plugs right into your fuse box it makes life a whole lot easier.

ask the police dept whether driving with your dome light on is a 'primary offense' and that will be your answer.

here in CO, it is, so they can pull you and waste your time as long as they want if you are driving with interior lighting on.
