the 5 most reputable brands are (in no order): Recaro, Sparco, Momo, Bride, and Cobra.

These companies get their good reputations from making FIA approved fixed-back racing seats. reclining seats cannot be FIA approved because they're not as safe for competition use, but I think there's 1 reclining seat that was approved.

FYI: FIA approval for seats (and possibly harnesses) have an expiration date of about 2 years. The FIA believe a seat used beyond the expiration date is no longer safe enough to protect a driver in a major motorsport related collision.

MOMO ftw. I love my darn seats. But good luck finding them, & you'll be spending $4800 if you do.

(sorry, I had to be a cocky brat for second, but hey, they're my pride & joy & pretty much my favorite mod, lol)

^ What a _______...

Your best bet bro is to go Sparco. They have a wide range of seats with pricing that will fit anyone's budget.

I am not a butthole, how dare you, matty!?!

Anyway, I'll have to agree with Matty on the Sparco's. Before I had my MoMo's I had Sparco Torino 2's. I regret selling them.

What is your budget for seats and waht application are you gonna use them for.......daily driver, race, shows, also need to take into account comfort and persons size. Those Corbeau's he has for sale are a great seat, comfortable, good looking and safely built so stick with that general idea and cost.

I personally love Corbeau seats for the fit, even their non reclining are fairly comfy.

w00t, i found a guy on craigslist locally selling a pair of those. im going tomorrow (just got back from HIN Miami) to look at and prolly pick em up. hes selling 2 seats with 4 point harnesses for $400 he says they are in like new condition.... well see...

and they are for Show use. i drive 2hours each way on the weekends to my gfs house, so is deff comfort over anything, but i still want a name that will hold up at show. and Bride is not one of those names, that why i didnt want to pay their prices....

I'm in the same boat. I don't really want to show my car, but if I choose to, it would be nice to have something done to the interior. lol. I'm looking for something that is comfortable too since I frequently drive the 6-7 hour trip between NorCal and SoCal. Right now, I'm looking at the Sparco Chrono Road.

He's selling $4800 seats + at least $400 worth of harnesses for $400? Sounds fishy.

Ah, I assumed you were talking about the MoMo's but I'm sure you're talking about the Torino 2's now. I mentioned 2 types of seats in my post & obviously the MoMo's stuck in my head before the Torino 2's so that's why I assumed that. Sorry, miscommunication, haha.
