Default Radio Cover, HELP!

Long story short, I pulled into a grocery store parking lot and went to close my radio cover....needless to say no matter how many times I tried to close it, it wouldn't stay in the closed position. When I got home I disassembled the HVAC and can't seem to figure out what is wrong with it.

Could someone please tell me how to go about fixing this? Or if anything looks out of place in the following pictures.

unscrew it then reset it. make sure that thing thats going down all the way comes up and latches into the white thing. you'll need to make some adjustments with the screws but it shouldn't be that hard

That's a ridiculous price for the amount of work you have to put into it!

To parent:

It looks like the tab that holds the bracket with "L" on it is broken, but comparing it to mine everything looks normal. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply guys! I messed around with it lastnight and realized the white piece was screwed in too tight. That same piece is meant to be a little loose to serve as a "swing arm" for when you open and close the cover.

Thanks again!

yea. it's a little pricey, but looks cool with remote start

but then again, the motorized kit isn't some cheapo mod...it actually has a chip board with a servo and linkages, very well done
