Rainbow Audio Questions
I was thinking of going really high end and going to buy Rainbow products. I was wondering if anyone knows how well these sound and the quality. They are the Vanadium line for the subwoofers and the Vanadium Reference line for the speakers

Holy crap...if I read the specs right..they're 600W max...350 Continuous....that's ridiculously LOW for a "really high end" sub that's $529 per sub MSRP.
If you want a GREAT sub for the same price as those wimpy Rainbow's you're looking at...go JL Audio and get the W7. Trust me...

uhhh NO.
SQ doesn't mean going and throwing around 1000watts. LOL
I sat in my friends shop car which has 240 ESOTAR and a Rainbow sub running all active off of a ZAPCO DC REF 650.6 and it was beautiful. Everything blended so well.
Comparing JL to Rainbows is like apples to oranges.

Speaking of XXX, I have a motor sitting in my bedroom waiting to get reconed....I can't wait to build it up and build a box for it, probably tune it to 30hz or lower...

...and after I upgrade to horns/nice tweets lol
