rear speakers installation
Tools needed 14mm socket and a wratchet,14mm wrench.10mm socket,flat head screw driver.
Lift up on the lower seat in the middle of each sitting position, lift hard if seat has never been out.
Then next steps are from hatch area.
Remove rear floor over the spare tire.
Use screw driver to pop up the plastic tabs on the piece up against the rear seat, and remove the 10mm screws. There is one on each side of the piece.Give that piece a lift straight up.
Don't worry about breaking anything as the car is like a giant Lego car.
Now you will be able to see the 14mm bolts holding in the rear seat backs, seems like there are 6-7 of them total, remove the drivers side first, then the passengers side.
Now you have clear access to the panels.
Remove the trim piece in the door jam,the black plastic piece that covers all the wires,do this on both sides.
Now take the screw driver and remove the plug pins holding the panel to the floor, they are right next to the carpet edge under the seat.
Now take screw driver and push in on the tab on the bag hanger on the panel itself and rotate it 90 degrees to the front of the car and then you can pop it right out,if it does not come out rotating to the front then rotate to the back....it is a pain the first time to get out.
At this point the panel is just in by clips, grab it by the door jam near the bottom and pull away from the body,it will basically fall off at that point.
Total time for a first timer to remove it all less than 2 hours, once you know how under 20 minutes.

I was able to do it without completely removing the panel. I still had to take out the bottom of the rear seat. After that, I started pulling the panel out from the side facing the front of the car, where the seatbelt is.
I used a large flathead screwdriver to pop out the pin holding the bottom tab to the carpet/floor. The plastic grocery hook is the trickiest part if don't know how to remove it. There is a small movable tab on one side of the shaft. Use a screwdriver to push this tab inward towards the center of the shaft, then turn the hook 90 degrees. Keep pushing the tab in, and pull the hook out from that side (you might need to wiggle it a bit).
The back of the seat prevents you from pulling out the rear side of the panel, but you will still have plenty of room to reach in and use a socket wrench to swap out the speakers. Just be careful not to drop anything down there.
