Rear Speakers not producing full-range
check your crossovers on the deck if you have any. Also did the speakers come with their own crossovers? If so did you hook them up correctly?
It has to be one of those two things if you are running them straight off the deck with the factory wiring.

No. The power ratings of speakers is a general indication of the amount of thermal capacity the motor structure can handle.
In your example, it is the AMPLIFIER at fault for clipping due to the inability to meet the current demands of low frequency reproduction.
The OP makes no mention if by "not getting full range" it is the bass or the treble that is missing. I suspect there may be some jumper wires either missing, or not connected properly on the speaker's terminals. There is the possibility that the tweeters are blown. Are the speakers new and/or tested to work 100%? Which make and model are the speakers?

They're just some 3-way, 180 watt Pioneer coaxials. I hooked them directly up to the +/- from the oem harness. The speakers are producing only highs. I tested the speakers and they are in fine condition, plus I've heard them play the full range that they should be in a different car. I still got the factory Scion HU and thats what I suspect is the problem. I didn't think to change it from "FEEL", which its on right now. But I don't know....
I think your speakers might be bad then. There are no x-over's on the factory deck so it can't be that and those speakers don't have external x-overs that you could have hooked up wrong. My best guess is that the voice coil is seized up or fried on the mid and therefore you are only getting the highs.
If you have a digital meter test the speaker for resistance. I am guessing it doesn't read 4 ohms.
