rocker switch installation
i searched for this topic but couldnt find anything...if there is one just send me a link but anyway i bought two orange streetglow tubes for my new 08 tc...i bought the rocker switch that fits perfectly into the push out panel, here is my question: Is this an easy installation and/or what could be the easiest way to do it?
so if anyone has put lights in yet just let me know the best way you did it...thanks guys/gals

the two tubes are goin on the drivers side and passenger side where your feet are, goin to look nice with the orange glow from the speedometer and cd player, ill post pics later when they are on
lol yeah thats why i thought i would be a little more specific....but i cant wait cause that will be the first little mod to the tc, but if you call getting floor mats a mod it will be my 2nd lolol
i'm guessing each tube comes with that cigaritte lighter plug in. mount the lights first then cut the plug and find your power and ground, after that ground both of them and well the other is your 12 volts which is gonna go to the rocker switch. ok now from your rocker switch if it's the one with 3 connections(which has the LED in it) then it will have numbers and those numbers will tell you which one is for the ground, 12volts positive source from battery, and 12volts accessory to lights. now if you got the one with 2 connections then just find out which one is your 12volts positive and then the other is your 12volts to the lights and that one has no ground cause it doesn't have an LED. i hope i didn't confuse you alot.
yeah i have done this in another vehicle but with only one tube, and when i mount the lights i use a really good velcro.....and my rocker switch does not have a LED in it, i just got the basic one
