Default RS 3.0 sub

I want to put a sub in my 07 tC but I don't like the big Bazooka unit that Scion sells. I like the idea of the under-cargo subwoofer that comes in the 2007 rs 3.0 tC. Does anyone know if it is possible to get one of those without buying a new car? I would prefer the 'stock' route instead of making something on my own or going to a local shop.

ElementalDesigns makes some really nice subfloor enclosures. You would probably be able to get more bang for your buck (literally) if you buy an aftermarket sub and ED enclosure.

i saw a really good setup from the tc, it was called a stealth subwoofer enclosure from like jvc audio or something. it was pretty good because it was a 300 watt sub that let you keep your spare tire down there. the only down side was that you had to relocate the tools, and your trunk got 3 inches shallower. but it would leave the floor completely flat. oh yeah, and using the rear seat child latches requires some adjustment.

The eD box and SQ10 subwoofer combo is $205 (I believe). Look for the section specifically for Scions and choose the "Loaded" box for tC. Add an amp mounted on top of the spare tire and you're set!

draxcaliber is talking about JL Audio, not JVC. Here's the link: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_s...4&model_id=795

The Elemental Designs box design with their shallow mount sub, or similar design from JL Audio, Critical Mass, Pioneer would get my vote.

Kenwood has something similar to the RS2.0 sub (model #KSC-SW1)

You can get it off of ebay for around $125. I've never heard it in person but it's probably what I'll go with when I do mine.
