my question is:
Has anyone replaced the sh*t handles of the tc with something else? like a lexus or a camry or something that doesnt feel like ur gonna brake it off?
let me know if they fit ok (since they are the same brand)

 

I am not sure if the tC has the same ones as the xB, but I replaced mine with Corolla handles.

I dont know abt u guys but on mine when u grab it and i dont mean hard just normal they start squweeking as if they are completely hollow inside. I just dont like it
These are the handles that the driver and passenger have on top of the door.
they are called ____ handles cause its usually the first thing u grab when sh*t happens. when when it does people say "oh sh*t!!"
(hope u werent being sarcastic on that Q guerro)

 

I was and I wasn't. I don't know why anyone would grab that handle if the shid was hittting the fan. That handle is there to assist passengers getting in and getting out of the car. Do people really have time to grab that handle when the shid hits the fan ? Just seems odd to me.

 

I happened to glance at my fiancee's sister's RX330's handles today and they are the same as the tC, at least look wise.

 

I like these kinds better than the non-flexible (hard) kinds.

However, is it really that big of a deal? Honestly I never even thought about them until you mentioned it. I think its probably one of the least noticed things in a car.

And I never felt like it was going to break.

don't think they break really easily... my buddy was drunk the other night and started hanging on mine. i told him was gonna cut his head off if he didn't get down, but he was drunk, what was i supposed to do?

 

it's no big deal, i dont really use them. but the other they for some reason i grabed it and it just felt weak.
i was mostly wondering if anyone had noticed

I've always wondered why those things were on the driver's side though, especially in a M/T car. The one on the passenger's side certainly gets used a lot...my wife hangs onto it for dear life .
