Default Sattelite Antenna location?

i got the premium pioneer sterio and xm sattelite radio off a xB2 in my tC. i currently have the sattelite antenna on on top of the radio and wanted to know if there are any other locations i can use to get better signal? i read the instructions on trdsparks.com but i dont think my antenna is that long to mount it next to the factory antenna on the rear quarter panel. i also searched on here with no luck so hopefully you guys can help?!?!

signal works ok but it does loose reception A LOT which is annoying when im listening to something good!! anyone with sattelite please chime in!!!

I put my antenna front and center on my dashboard covering some of the vents. You may need a grounding plate(mine came with one). run the wire along the bottom of the windshield, down through the kickpanel, and along the doorsill.
