im gonna get the sq10 scion side enclosure and i was wondering what do you guys think about it im talking about the one straight from ed

i hear its very accurate and is a good sub but im kinda worried because it looks so small in the enclosure and begs for another driver

 

for the price, i think its great. could use a little more power and quality, but for what you get outta that tiny 10in sub, you'll be surprised.

i only say it could use a little more power and quality because i used to own a jl 12w6v2.

 

i have the ed sq-10/enclosure combination, and running one of their niNe 2 amps off of the stock h/u (the upgraded system with ipod connectivity). all door/panel speakers are stock, too.

for the money, and ease of installation, it sounds dang good. hits nice and hard, but not ground shaking.

i listen to a lot of dub (reggae) and so i am already wanting to upgrade to a two speaker system with new headunit. hopefully ed is already working on one.

but until i know what that system will look like/cost, this system is plenty fun, and my dub friends really dig it.

it's all personal taste, ya know.

 

That's why I made a 2 sub box out of fiberglass using two SQ10 subs....

does it shake the car or the ones beside it?

 

its kinda shakes your car, but most def not the car next to it. you can see some viration on the side view mirrors if you set it up correctly.

you wont get shaking cars with sq10's even with 6 of them.

step up to a pair of 13ov.2's or 16ov.2's if you wanna shake cares. then maybe they wont be as "___"

if you're looking at the 4 sq10's that wont shake other cars either.

my buddy has 6 sq10's and its loud but it doesn't even compare to mine.

i give so many other people ____ that its really important that people keep me in check. when i rolled into that show people were taking off their blue bras and someone decided to put a ***** on my car. its ok tho bc when he was sleeping i put my ***** on his shoulder

the sq10 system is just gonna be a filler because im only 15 and i wont be making alot but when i get MECP certified and start working in a shop ill have a lil more extra cash and be one bamf and shaking cars and and breaking windows

 

the SQ10s are very capable. It's enough for most. I have the left side getting ready, but there's no way I need 4 10's. I just did it to do it and if others want, they can buy. I think Neb has his just to show off, to promote ED and to make money at shows. I doubt he rides down the street with those at even 50% power....but i could be wrong. I think you'd need some serious excederin after, though.

 

yeah i listen to them at about 50% daily. its a lot and with the turbo i barely have the stereo on at all
