Default Scion Tc Audio deck

hey whats up everyone. i have a question on the 1st gen tc and 2nd gen tc audio decks... Can the 2nd gen fit in the 1st gen. EX: 2011 into a 2007?

toyota/scion wiring plugs for the radios are all the same so you will be ok

If you get the Alpine unit, wait until they sort out the right channel mixing iisue. There is a thread in the Tc2 ICE forum on the issue. Honestly, I would rather have a Sony or Pioneer head unit. They perform much better. The touch screen is nice but I am after sound quality first..... The Alpine is down on audio quality unless you are listening to a H.D. FM station.

Alright, I got the tc premium pioneer audio deck. i installed it but my steering wheel doesnt control it. does anyone know how or what id need to do so my steering wheel controls will work? also what kind of cord do i need to get for my ipod to work?

Do you know the model number on your pioneer radio? I currently have the alpine premium that I am trying to add to my tC, but I have had no luck finding the cable that plugs into the back of the head unit so I can have USB/Ipod. I know that the pt546-00100 has the same connection in the back. I have included a picture below.
