Default Scion tC Auto-Dimming Mirror: Help!

Today I got my alarm installed and now my Auto-dimming rear-view mirror stopped working. Prior to the installation it was working completely fine.

Could someone provide me with some information on where to start or how to fix it?

Thanks for any help.

Is anything else not working? Could just be a fuse... but I'm not sure what fuse it would be. Probably part of another circuit.

^Everything else in the car is working fine.

If there is a problem with the fuse, could anyone tell me where the fuse is located?

There are two locations. Under the hood (near the battery?) and under the steering wheel on the left side. To find the specific fuse, you might want to refer to your manual as I don't know.

I thought that mirror got its power from the dome lights, are the domes still working, and check the map lights too,as I remember from the diagram it hooked into those wires,so my guess is dome light wire.

^Thanks man. I'll check tomorrow during daylight.

Could anyone provide me with other reasons for why the auto-dimming mirror is not working?

I just checked and all the dome lights are working fine. Do you think a dome light wire just got loose?

it could of been loose, they use the crush lock splices to hook them up and the wires are kinda tight up there so it is possible when they did your alarm,I am guess they stuck the antenna on the windshield at the top they snagged the wire installing and loosened it up.

By antenna I meen my Viper has a small antenna that attached to the top of the windshield inside
