Default Scion tC driver side window is stuck

My driver side window is stuck, it can't go down and it makes a clicking noise and it can roll up but its not really moving at all.
Passenger window is fine...any idea what could be the problem?

Not for sure, exactly, but it sounds to me like the motor that controls the movement of your window is dead.

take it to a body shop and have them check it out.. my driver side window would go down about less than half ways and get stuck. found out that the guide that keps the window in place when it goes up/down was bent in all sorts of places... took it to a body shop and they bent it back into place for $40...

07, i live in rhode island we got alot of snow and ice rain here this past week, is it possible ice is blocking the window? the window definitely wants to go down but it seems like something is blocking it.

take the door panel off and look inside to see if anything is blocking the window from going down... take the panel off and try to roll the window down while looking inside...

Thanks for the feedback everyone. It was ice that was blocking the window which melted this morning. My driver window works fine now.
