I haven't seen a post about this. So I need some help in installing the Scion tC keyless entry alarm. I would like to know if anyone has instructions or wiring diagram. I bought this setup, wanting to only use my factory key and under the impression that the scion security instructions from trdsparks.com would work for this setup. Apprently not! help anyone??

 

uhmm... the instructions found at trdsparks should tell you everything...

what part are you confused with?

 

well what I have bought from the dealer is the upgrade. Trdsparks.com sells the keyless and the security. Basically the harness seems to look different than the instructions from trdsparks. From what I read on the instructions it does not show anything about the kill swith or the individual plugs that go on to the fuse panel.

the scion security just plugs in with a few wiring and mounting stuff...

keyless comes stock with the car... and the scion security just adds on to that.

did you get scion security? or something completely different?

 

you know what it might not be the scion security. But the guy said its the upgrade is what he sold me. damn it!

yea I got it from the Toyota scion dealer today.

 

hmm.. go back and ask.... i'm thinking it's KARR.... another security system i know alot of Toyota dealers also carry.

 

Is there installation instructions for that one?

 

i don't have any on me at hand....

even so.. i'm not sure what you do have.. can you post a picture of the harness and stuff? box too? sure?

You might want to try contacting KARR, since that's probably what it is. SquallLHeart is absolutely right, the KARR system is what most dealerships carry apart from the factory system.
