Default Setting Up New System... Need Help Folks

OK I bought my amp today and I'm getting everything else Friday... I just need to know what extras I'm going to need RCAs, speaker brackets whatever... please be specific because this is the first time I have ever done this. What's wires are good, any tricks you know... anything will be appreciated...

Here is what I've got:

Factory HD (I know it needs to be replaced, eventually it will not now)
Polk MOMO 400.4 Amp (Brand new for 250 I might add, originally 399 and still got manu. warranty.)
Polk Db Series 6.5 Components
Polk Db Series 5.25

Well as for wiring. There is always the $20 Wal-Mart package which includes RCAs ground/power wire. (not too bad either, I believe wal-mart carries 'Scosche'.

This is what I went with in the begining just to get me running. I intented on getting different wiring form the begining. I have since then put all that wiring in my beater car and it still works great.

If you are going to piece it all together...Meaning that you are not going to buy a package deal but rather going to buy the ground/power/RCA's/Fuse/ Fuse Housing seperate then you have a couple different options. It all depends on what you are trying to get out of your system. you can pay up to $150-$200 for a kit if you get real serious with it.

A couple popular brands are Monster Cable. Tsunami, Rockford Fosgate, I believe pheonix Gold also makes kits. Those are a couple. I am running StreetWires and I am very satisfied.

Here is a general rule of thumb...
The following assumes a total power wire length (including the length of the ground cable) of 20-25 feet and that the battery ground and alternator-to-battery charging wire are the same as the recommended power wire.
8 AWG: Up to 300 Watts RMS
4 AWG: 200 to 800 Watts RMS
2 AWG: 600 to 1400 Watts RMS
1/0 AWG: 1000 to 2000 Watts RMS

If a system exceeds 2000 Watts, multiple 1/0 power wires should be used, distributing the power evenly between the wires.
If the total RMS system power overlaps between two wire gauges listed above, choose the bigger wire whenever possible and practical.
If your total wire run is longer than 25 feet (including the length of the ground wire), step up to the next larger size than the one listed above.Remember that running power wire that is too small not only degrades performance and charging system reliability, but also presents a serious safety hazard! Overloading power wire can overheat and burn, potentially causing a fire and/or accident. Do not take this lightly!
